From Foundations Engineer to AI Security Engineering

A 14-month live engineering residency designed to take you from Linux and cloud foundations to enterprise AI security architecture without shortcuts

No shortcuts. No hype. Just live engineering and production-grade systems.

You Cannot Secure What You Cannot Build.

The world is rushing to deploy AI, but the industry has a problem: we are building advanced intelligence on top of broken infrastructure. Most bootcamps promise you “AI Security” in 90 days. That is a lie. You cannot secure a Neural Network if you don’t understand the Linux Kernel it runs on.AI systems run on infrastructure. We teach you how that infrastructure works and how to secure it.

Gracespot Academy is not a bootcamp. It is an Engineering Residency.

  • No Pre-Recorded Videos. Real-time engineering.

  • No Shortcuts. We start at the bottom (Linux/Network) to build you to the top (AI Governance).

  • No Fluff. If you can’t build it in the terminal, you don’t know it.

Projects, Labs, and Applied Experience

At Gracespot Academy, learning is built around doing, not watching. From the earliest weeks, students work hands on with systems, networks, and cloud environments, learning how technology behaves under real conditions. Each phase includes guided labs and structured projects that reinforce core concepts, expose common failures, and build practical problem solving skills.

Daily and Weekly Practice

Guided labs and structured exercises reinforce core concepts and expose common system failures.

Monthly Integrated Projects

Each month includes a major project that combines multiple skills across Linux, cloud, DevOps, and AI security, reflecting how real systems behave.

Review and Progression

Projects and labs are reviewed, refined, and built upon as students advance, ensuring skills compound rather than reset at each phase.

Real-World Engineering Projects

We don't do theoretical quizzes. You will build, break, and secure systems that reflect real production environments.

🐧 Linux Administration
Configure and manage Linux servers, users, permissions, and services while troubleshooting live system failures.
Linux · System Security
☁️ Secure Cloud Network
Design and deploy cloud networks (VPC) with proper segmentation, routing, and access controls to fix insecure configurations.
Networking · AWS VPC
🚀 CI/CD Security
Build automated pipelines that deploy applications while integrating security checks, secrets management, and failure recovery.
DevOps · Pipeline Security
🐳 Container Hardening
Containerize applications, apply image hardening practices, and identify common security risks in Kubernetes environments.
Docker · K8s · Security
🤖 AI Attack & Defense
Simulate real-world attacks on LLMs (Prompt Injection, Poisoning) and engineer technical guardrails to block them.
Red Teaming · Adversarial ML
⚖️ AI Governance
Design governance controls using recognized frameworks (NIST AI RMF) to address model risk, fairness, and accountability.
Compliance · Risk Mgmt

These projects increase in complexity across the program and are completed with guided instruction and structured review, allowing students to demonstrate capability, not just completion.

Who is Gracespot Academy for?

This residency is rigorous and paced. We want to ensure it’s the right fit for your goals.

A Good Fit If You:

  • • Want to build skills properly from the foundations up.
  • • Crave hands-on labs and structured projects.
  • • Can manage learning alongside other responsibilities.
  • • Value deep system logic over memorizing tools.
  • • Are committed to long-term growth in AI DevSecOps.

Not a Fit If You:

  • • Are looking for shortcuts or rapid job guarantees.
  • • Prefer passive, pre-recorded video content.
  • • Are unwilling to practice in the terminal consistently.
  • • Want senior titles without doing the foundational work.
  • • Cannot commit 10-15 hours weekly for the duration.
Rigorous Engineering. Deep System Rigor. No Shortcuts.

"Alignment supports your learning goals, but our primary focus remains on building real capability through 14 months of applied engineering."

Aluba Uche
Lead Instructor & Founder

"I'll see you in the terminal."

Aluba Uche | M.S. Cybersecurity

"I founded Gracespot Academy because the industry is desperate for Builders, not just paper-pushers. I built this program to give you the technical character to survive the interview and thrive on the job."

As a practitioner and educator, my goal isn't to help you pass a quiz. It’s to ensure you can architect, secure, and defend the systems that run the modern world. We don't do "easy" here we do competent.

The Operational Standard

Gracespot is built on real-time engineering. This structure is designed to support learners who value consistency, accountability, and long-term skill development over accelerated or unstructured learning. This is what we expect from our builders.

Program Commitment

  • • 100% Live Instruction: No pre-recorded videos. Every session is face-to-face with immediate feedback loops.
  • • Weekly Load: Expect 10–15 hours of high-intensity output (Technical Briefs + Real-time Labs).
  • • Active Defense: You don’t watch; you type. Labs are conducted live under instructor supervision.
  • • Mandatory Attendance: Because we operate in real-time, consistency is the only way to succeed.
